Welcome to the new website of the Free State Department of Agriculture!

Having accumulated valuable experience from previous years, the Free State Department of Agriculture has readjusted its strategy in order to maximise the achievements of its basic objectives, viz. social and economic development in the Free State by rendering agricultural services. This is being embodied in the Strategic Plan of the Department currently being adapted and finalised.

In order to maximise the functioning of the Department and the implementation of the Strategic Plan, it is imperative that all stakeholders in the agricultural sector in the province be aboard.

It is for this purpose that this website as a major instrument has been made available. The website has been designed and structured to be need-driven for stakeholders and to facilitate achievement of the objectives of the Department.
